Property Slug

In the Zozonest Property Plugin, the Property Slug settings allow you to customize the URL structure (permalinks) for your real estate website. A slug is the user-friendly part of a URL that identifies a specific page or category on your site.

Purpose of Slug Settings

• SEO Optimization: Customizing slugs with relevant keywords helps search engines understand your content, improving your rankings.

• Branding: You can change generic terms to better reflect your business. For example, changing the default /property/ to /listing/ or /real-estate/.

• User Experience: Short, descriptive URLs are easier for visitors to read and share.

Individual Slug Options in Zozonest

Based on the plugin interface, you can define unique slugs for several core components:

• Property Slug: Sets the base URL for individual property listings (e.g., yoursite.com/property/modern-villa).

• Property Category Slug: Defines the URL for property types, such as apartments or villas.

• Property Action/Status Slug: Used for taxonomies like “For Sale” or “For Rent”.

• Location Slugs: Includes specific fields for Country, State, City, and Area to organize properties geographically in the URL structure.

• Agent Slugs: Customizes the URL for agent profiles and agent categories.

• Property Package Slug: Sets the URL for membership or listing packages used in monetization.

Important: Saving Permalinks

After making any changes to your slugs, you must refresh your WordPress permalinks to prevent “404 Page Not Found” errors.

1. Navigate to Settings > Permalinks in your WordPress dashboard.

2. Click the Save Changes button (even if you didn’t change anything on that page) to re-register the new URL paths.
