Supported Measurement Types

Zozonest allows you to configure area units globally or on a per-listing basis:

1. Urban Units (sqft & sqm)

• Square Feet ($ft^2$): The standard for residential and commercial listings in the US, UK, and parts of Asia.

• Square Meters: The primary metric for most of Europe, Australia, and modern international developments.

• Display Logic: You can set a “Suffix” (e.g., /sqft) that automatically appends to the size number on the property card.

2. Land & Agricultural Units (Acres & Hectares)

• Acres: Commonly used for large residential plots, farms, and ranch listings.

• Hectares: The metric equivalent often used in luxury estates and agricultural land development.

• Dual-Unit Display: You can configure the plugin to show both a “Building Area” (in sqft) and a “Lot Size” (in acres) within the same listing.

How to Configure Units in Zozonest

You can manage these settings in the Zozonest > Settings > General menu:

1. Measurement System: Choose your primary global system (Metric or Imperial).

2. Unit Suffixes: Define the text that follows the number. For example, change sqft to Square Feet for a more formal look.

3. Area Labeling: Assign specific labels to different fields. You can have one field for “Internal Area” and another for “Total Plot Area.”

4. Separator Settings: Define how decimals and thousands are separated (e.g., 1,200.50 vs 1.200,50) to match your country’s standards.
