First method of Installation

 Step 1: Upload and Activation

You can install Zozonest just like any other professional WordPress plugin.

1. Download the plugin .zip file from your Zozonest account or provider.

2. Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.

3. Navigate to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.

4. Choose the zozonest.zip file and click Install Now.

5. Once uploaded, click Activate.

 Step 2: Google Maps API Configuration

Most of Zozonest’s core features (Location System, Search Maps, Radius Search) require a Google Maps API Key to function.

1. Go to the Google Cloud Console.

2. Enable the following APIs:

   • Maps JavaScript API (for the map display).

   • Places API (for address autocomplete).

   • Geocoding API (to convert addresses to map pins).

3. Generate an API Key and restrict it to your website URL for security.

4. In WordPress, go to Zozonest > Settings > Map Settings and paste your key into the field.

 Step 3: Essential Basic Setup

Before adding your first property, configure these global settings to ensure your data is consistent.

• Currency Settings: Go to Settings > General to set your primary currency symbol ($, €, £) and position.

• Measurement Units: Choose between Square Feet or Square Meters depending on your region.

• Permalinks: Navigate to WordPress Settings > Permalinks and ensure it is set to “Post Name.” Click “Save Changes” to flush the rewrite rules for property URLs.

 Step 4: Defining Property Taxonomy

Organize your database structure so the search filters work correctly.

1. Property Types: Create categories like Apartment, Villa, Office, or Land.

2. Property Status: Define labels like For Sale, For Rent, or Sold.

3. Features/Amenities: Add items like Swimming Pool, Gym, Wi-Fi, or Garage. These will appear as checkboxes for agents when they submit a listing.

Step 5: Page Creation & Elementor Setup

Zozonest needs specific pages to function as a portal.

1. Automatic Setup: Most versions of Zozonest will prompt you to “Install Demo Pages” or “Create Required Pages” (Dashboard, Search, Comparison). Click Yes.

2. Elementor Integration: * Open any page with Elementor.

   • Search for “Zozonest” in the widget panel.

   • Drag the Property Search or Property Grid widget onto your page to start designing your layout.
