Price History: Transparency & Trust

Price history acts as a “logbook” for a property’s value, showing potential buyers how a listing’s price has changed over time.

  • Automatic Tracking: Once activated, Zozonest monitors price updates in the backend. Every time an agent or admin changes the “Price” field, the plugin logs the new value along with a timestamp.

  • Price Drop Badges: If the current price is lower than the previous one, the plugin can automatically display a “Reduced” or “Price Drop” badge on the property card to catch the user’s eye.

  • Frontend Visualization: In the property details page, users can see a simple list or a line graph showing the historical price points. This is particularly useful for investors looking to see if a property has been sitting on the market or if the seller is highly motivated.

  • Omnibus Directive Compliance: For European markets, this feature helps meet legal requirements (like the EU Omnibus Directive) by showing the lowest price a property has had in the last 30 days.

Price Range Filters: Targeted Searching

The Range Filter is a user-facing tool that prevents “search fatigue” by hiding properties that are too expensive or below the buyer’s quality threshold.

  • Dual-Handle Sliders: Most Zozonest layouts use a visual slider where users can drag two points to set a “Min” and “Max” budget simultaneously.

  • AJAX Refinement: As the user moves the slider, the property list updates in real-time without a full page refresh, providing a fast, “app-like” experience.

  • Custom Step Values: Admins can define the “steps” for the filter. For example, you can set the slider to move in increments of $10,000 or $50,000 depending on the luxury level of your portal.

  • Input Fields: For users who have an exact budget in mind, Zozonest provides manual input boxes where they can type specific numbers (e.g., $455,000) for pinpoint accuracy.
