The Multi-Step Submission Form

To prevent users from being overwhelmed, Zozonest typically breaks the submission process into logical steps. Each step must be completed before moving to the next:

  1. Basic Information: Title, property description, price, and category (e.g., “For Sale” or “Apartment”).

  2. Location Details: Address with Google Maps Autocomplete. Users type the address, and the plugin automatically places a pin on the map.

  3. Media Upload: A drag-and-drop zone for high-resolution photos, 360° virtual tours, and YouTube/Vimeo links.

  4. Property Details: Specific fields for Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Year Built, and Square Footage.

  5. Amenities & Features: A checklist of items like “Pool,” “Central Air,” or “Garage.”

  6. Floor Plans & Attachments: Option to upload PDF brochures or floor plan images with custom titles.

Management & Moderation

As the site administrator, you have total control over how these listings enter your database:

  • Submission Review: You can set new listings to “Pending” by default. This allows you to check for spam or incorrect data before clicking “Publish” to make the property live.

  • Editing Rights: Once a property is live, agents can log back into their Frontend Dashboard to update the price, change photos, or mark the property as “Sold.”

  • Required Fields: You can decide which data is mandatory. For example, you can prevent a user from submitting a form if they haven’t uploaded at least 5 photos.
