Auto Geocoding: From Text to Pins

Geocoding is the technical process of converting an address (e.g., “1600 Amphitheatre Parkway”) into Latitude and Longitude coordinates.

• Instant Pin Placement: As soon as an agent types an address into a listing, Zozonest automatically “pings” Google Maps to find the exact coordinates. This places the property pin on the map instantly.

• Manual Correction: If the auto-placement is slightly off (common for new developments), agents can usually “drag” the pin on a preview map to refine the location manually.

• Database Storage: The plugin saves these coordinates in the database. This makes the Search & Filter system much faster because it queries numbers (lat/long) rather than trying to read text addresses every time.

Address Validation & Autocomplete

This feature improves the data quality of your site by preventing typos and “fake” addresses.

• Google Places Autocomplete: As a user starts typing an address, a dropdown list appears with verified suggestions from Google. Selecting a suggestion ensures the address is formatted correctly (City, State, Zip all in the right spots).
