Installation Guide: The Repository Method

This method is ideal if Zozonest is listed on the official WordPress.org plugin directory. It allows you to “search and click” to install.

1. Access the Plugin Marketplace

Instead of uploading a file, you will browse the live WordPress library:

• Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.

• Navigate to Plugins > Add New Plugin (or just Add New).

• You will see a gallery of “Featured” and “Popular” plugins.

2. Search for Zozonest

Use the live search bar to pull the plugin from the global database:

• Locate the Search Bar in the top right-hand corner.

• Type “Zozonest” and press Enter.

• Look for the plugin card that shows the “zozothemes” author name.

3. Verification (Vetting)

Before clicking install, it is a best practice to check the “health” of the plugin directly on the card:

• Last Updated: Ensure it was updated recently (e.g., within the last few months).

• Compatibility: Check if it says “Compatible with your version of WordPress.”

• Active Installations: A higher number usually indicates a more stable and trusted tool.

4. One-Click Installation

• Click the Install Now button on the Zozonest card.

• WordPress will automatically pull the files from the official server and place them in your /wp-content/plugins/ folder for you.

• The button text will change to Activate. Click it again to turn the plugin on.

5. Finalizing the Setup

Once activated, you will usually be redirected to the Zozonest Welcome Screen or the Plugins list.

• Look for a new menu item in your sidebar labeled “Property Directory” or “Zozonest.”

• Proceed with Step 2 (API Configuration) from the previous guide to connect your maps.
