In the Zozonest plugin, Payment & Monetization options allow you to transform a standard property listing site into a revenue-generating marketplace. This system is designed for site owners who want to charge agents, agencies, or individuals for the privilege of listing or promoting properties.

1. Monetization Models

Zozonest typically supports three main ways to make money from your portal:

• Paid Listing Packages: Users pay a flat fee per property submission (e.g., “$10 to list one property for 30 days”).

• Membership/Subscription Plans: Users pay a recurring monthly or yearly fee for a bundle of listings (e.g., “Silver Plan: $50/mo for 10 listings; Gold Plan: $100/mo for unlimited listings”).

• Featured/Promoted Listings: Allow users to pay an extra fee to have their property pinned to the top of search results or featured in the homepage slider.

2. Payment Gateway Integration

To collect these fees, Zozonest integrates with major global and local payment processors:

• Stripe: The gold standard for credit card payments and recurring subscriptions.

• PayPal: A trusted global option for one-time listing fees and memberships.

• WooCommerce Compatibility: Many versions of Zozonest can connect to WooCommerce, opening up hundreds of additional local payment gateways (like Razorpay, Mollie, or Authorize.Net).

• Wire Transfer: Allows for manual offline payments where the admin manually approves a listing after receiving a bank transfer.

3. Admin Controls & Invoicing

The plugin provides a backend dashboard to manage the financial side of your business:

• Invoice Management: Automatically generates digital invoices for every transaction, which users can download from their frontend dashboard.

• Coupon Codes: Create discount codes (e.g., “FIRSTLISTING50”) to attract new agents to your platform.

• Tax Configuration: Set up local tax rates (VAT/GST) to be automatically added to the checkout price.

• Free vs. Paid Roles: You can configure the “Buyer” role to be free while requiring the “Agent” role to have an active paid plan to post content.

4. Elementor Pricing Widgets

Using Elementor, you can visually display your monetization plans to users:

• Pricing Tables: Create attractive comparison tables that highlight the features of your different membership tiers (e.g., “Standard” vs. “Professional”).

• Checkout Redirects: Connect the buttons in your pricing table directly to the Zozonest or WooCommerce checkout page.
